It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Happy Birthday Meme!!!

Carlee met Santa on Saturday, but they didn't allow outside cameras (this way they can charge you $30 for pictures)! Yes, $30...crazy, but the craziest part is that I actually paid it! And I have nothing to show for it (blog wise - maybe I will try to take a picture of the picture). Anyways, I guess a Baby's 1st Christmas makes you do silly things like that...Carlee is definitely worth it.

Carlee's going Bananas over Bananas!!!

Carlee had bananas for the 1st time this week (her 1st solid food experience) and she absolutely LOVED them!! After the first bite she gave me this look like this isn't cereal, but before I could even give her the 2nd bite she immediately grabbed the spoon and shoved it in her mouth and wouldn't let go!!! She kept eating and eating. She would have eatin' the entire jar if I would have let her. She's my little monkey! I also think she is going to be a gymnast, the next olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson. Carlee loves throwing her head back and going into a back bend position with her feet and head on the ground and her belly in the air. I will try and get pictures! I still remember the high risk pregnancy doctor telling me during a sonogram that she is one flexible little girl - Carlee had one foot over her head and one foot behind her butt. The girl has some serious moves.

What a Big Girl!

Chelsey, Carlee and I went to Canton on Saturday to do some Christmas shopping. We were already anticipating a big shopping spree so we put Carlee in her big girl stroller and took the other infant stroller as a shopping cart. It worked out well until we filled the stroller up within the 1st hour, so we went back to the car to unload and then started at it again. Carlee was such a trooper. Even after 5 hours of shopping, she was still full of smiles. She loves shopping already!!! Craig is in trouble!

BTW: Just for any of you wondering, that is the MacClaren stroller that was recalled, but I ordered the parts and put the hinge covers on there, so it is safe!! I didn't want anyone calling CPS on me!

After a hard day of shopping!

Carlee has a twin at daycare...or at least a friend in the same outfit. This little girl has more hair than Carlee ever will in the next 3 years. So cute!!!

Carlee at the Zoo!

Papa and Carlee
Cici and Carlee with the real Sophie. Carlee has a rubber giraffe named Sophie that she loves to chew on, but I don't think these giraffes would be as understanding about her teething situation.

What a sleepy expression!
This was Carlee most of the time at the zoo.

Just a cute picture!

It's Snowing!!!

Carlee's first snow!!!! These first 2 pictures don't capture how thick it was really falling, so I took a few scenic ones too.

You can't really see the snow here, but Carlee's facial expression was funny!

Of course it has already melted, but it was sure fun to wake up this morning and see the beautiful snow flakes falling. And while I was driving to work I had Christmas music playing and I just couldn't help but get in the spirit of the holiday season!!!

She's a Hybrid!

Chelsey and me celebrating a Texas Tech victory (but barely, Baylor put up a good fight)!

It was a packed stadium!

Tailgating before the game!!!!

Very impressive, Jerry!

Carlee's zoo outfit!

Carlee was fascinated with Cici's Dr. Pepper can. She kept trying to drink it. She's a true Texan!

Carlee and Cici

This is torture...don't make me choose! Maybe Carlee will get an Aggie outfit for Christmas (hint hint Uncle John).

My parents came to visit Thanksgiving evening and stayed through the weekend. They were such a big help since I had to work on Friday and Craig studied Friday and all weekend for the audit section of the CPA exam. They brought Carlee up to my work on Friday so I could show her off. On Saturday my parents took Carlee to the Ft Worth Zoo (pictures coming soon) while Craig and I went to the Baylor/Tech game at the new Cowboys stadium. Carlee slept most of the time, but my parents enjoyed getting to spend a lot of quality time with her and they got a lot of attention for having such a beautiful grandbaby!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Carlee loves blowing raspberries and she thinks it is so funny when spit goes everywhere!

Daddy and Carlee
We spent Thanksgiving day at the Cheynes in Cleburne. It was Carlee's first time at their house. She spent a lot of time looking around and checking everything out, but mostly she spent a lot of time being held and loved on. Uncle Cody had the magic touch because every time he held her she would just fall asleep in his arms (I wish I had a picture - so cute!!!). We had a great time and the food was delicious. We are very thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful family!
