More Accomplishments and Lauren's 1st birthday!

What a big girl!!!! Carlee is standing all by herself!

Dad was in town for a conference in Grapevine and of course had to come see Carlee. He even got to see her go from crawling to the sitting up position for the very first time.

When Dr. Jeff Savell (aka Papa J) speaks even Carlee knows to listen. Jeff is a professor of meat science at Texas A&M and the Savell's are dear family friends. Needless to say, we always enjoy going over to their house for dinner! Carlee attended her first birthday party last weekend in honor of Miss Lauren's 1st birthday (Mama J and Papa J's granddaughter)!!! Carlee has received a lot of handy-me-downs from Lauren, which we appreciate so very much!!!! We had such a great time and it was fun watching the girls play - they are growing up too fast!!!

Carlee finally got an Aggie outfit for Christmas from Uncle John! She clearly loves it!
Carlee and I went to College Station last weekend for the A&M/Tech basketball game. We had a great weekend and got to see lots of friends and of course, Cici, Papa and Uncle John.

Mother/Daughter matching Uggs! Mom felt bad that Carlee had real Uggs and I just had Fuggs (fake uggs), so she graciously bought me a pair! Now we are both stylin' ~ Thanks Mom!!!!

Carlee and Charlotte had a fun playdate! Randi (bride-to-be...only 33 more days!!!!) of course joined in on the fun.

Carlee decided to start crawling last week. She has been trying for a while, but she finally got the hands and knees coordination down. She is getting faster and faster daily and is already attempting to get into the cabinets of our kitchen and the dresser drawers. Yesterday, she went from crawling to the sitting up position! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the very first time she did this, but I put her in her crib to take a nap, which she adamantly protested, and when I went to check on her she was sitting up in her crib ~ I was very surprised as I clearly remember laying her down. She showed off her new trick several times last night. What a big girl!!!!
