My little Sunshine!
Carlee prefers to eat the bluebonnets rather than getting pictures in them! Already breaking the law!
Cici and Papa didn't complain when we decided to make a last mintue/unexpected visit.
I couldn't decide which pictures I like best so I just posted a lot of them!
Carlee and I were in College Station last weekend visiting Cici and Papa. We had such a great time, of course!!! Papa loves making animal noises (I mean real animal noises - it sounds like you are in the pasture with the cows or swimming with the seals) and Carlee wanted to give it a try. She said moo after Papa said it and then Cici showed her a little chick and said peep peep and Carlee said peep peep right back to her. Other words that she said a couple of times this weekend were Papa, Baby and Dog. She doesn't say words often, but you know exactly what she is saying when she does decide to speak. She is starting to get it all figured out - what a big girl!

Easter Egg Hunt #2
Carlee and her cousin Cayden
Cayden was so sweet and put eggs in Carlee's basket too - although he did mention that he didn't understand why Carlee needed the eggs because she couldn't eat the candy that was in them. He says the most adorable things!
Friday night we head to CS and as soon as we got Carlee out of the car we noticed that she was running a fever. I gave her some Motrin thinking she was just teething. Saturday morning she woke up still with a fever of about 101. Finally we decided that she needed to go see the doctor because her fever was not breaking, so off to the clinic we go. We see the doctor and everything looked and sounded good so the verdict was she had a viral infection. Sunday morning she wakes up with no fever and while not back to her cheerful self she was definitely doing better so off to church we went. After lunch we left for Cleburne for dinner with Craig's family. As soon as we got out of the car, Carlee's fever was back with a vengeance and add vomiting to the mix. We finally get back to our house and she throws up again and fever seems to be getting higher. She wakes up around midnight and her temperature was 105 (yes 105, not 100.5, but 105)!!! I immediately called the doctor and he said to go to Cook's Children in FW - off we go. We get there around 12:45am and the waiting room was packed. Within 30 minutes or so we see a nurse just to go back out to the waiting room for 2 hours before going back to see the doctor which then took another hour. Finally, around 4:30am we see the doctor and what else, but a Double Ear Infection!!! Her 2nd one within a couple of months. Poor little girl. They gave her some ear drops and sent us home with a prescription. She just looked so sad and pitiful, but she seems to get getting a little better.
